| The ABS direct-fired gas water heater is the ultimate solution
for low cost hot water production in large quantities, and provide an energy
efficient and reliable method of providing hot water for commercial and
industrial premises all year round. Suitable for applications such as sports
clubs, recreational centers, restaurants, camping sites, sauna baths, gymnasiums,
public houses and schools, they easily meet the requirements for high demand

The principal of direct fired units comprises of a burner
situated below a storage tank. The tank is made from heavy gauge steel,
which has a ceramic fused glass lining and is fitted with sacrificial anode(s)
which offer cathodic protection.
Gas water storage heaters provide a single source of localised hot water,
which can be installed at the point of use, thus eliminating long pipe
runs. They can be installed singly or as a multiple installation for greater
storage capacity. |

| Safety |
| |
| Multifunctional gas valves with high limit cut-out, and an
exhaust fume control device IOCF) on all models, prevents accidental gas
and combustion fume leakage. CE approvals have been obtained on all models.

| Quality |
| |
On the smaller models, the storage tank is vitreous enameled
at 870°F and the larger models have a tank which is hot dip galvanised.
The external jacket is plastic coated mild steel sheet. The larger models
are fitted with probe type temperature gauges which accurately indicates
the stored water temperature. The temperature gauge on the 150 and 200
litre models is of contact type. |

| Reliability |

| All heaters are tested and checked at several stages in the
production run in order to eliminate production faults or functional defects.
Cathodic protection is provided by an easily replaceable magnesium anode,
preventing boiler corrosion and ensuring long life. |

| After sales service |
| |
| Commissioning and after sales service can be provided to support
the installation engineers. A full range of spares is stocked at our warehouse.
Factory trained engineers, are available to give advice on design or technical
aspects of an installation on request. ABS water heaters consist of 18 models
in their range with outputs from 238 litres/hr to 2720 litres/hr. The units
can be installed singly or parallel depending on size of demand. |

| The range |

| ABS have a total of 18 models that are available with alternative
levels of specification. All gas fired units are available for natural gas
and Ipg. Three models (TGF Series) are available fully room sealed (balanced
flue), vertical or horizontal versions are available. These fully packaged
kits include fan, temperature programme and Anode tester. |
