| NEG's all-weather Solar Tube Collector, SUNTUBE
from Riomay is a brand-new series of third generation energy
package designed to provide optimally efficient solar energy
collection at minimum outlay. |

Manufactured using a combination of state-of-the-art
glass-forming technology and advanced glass- to-glass and glass-to-metal
sealing techniques similar to those used in the production of
cathode ray tubes, SUNTUBE assures significantly better efficiency
than many other solar energy collectors. Specifically, when
compared with flat-plate collectors, SUNTUBE energy packages
permit 30% reduction in the required collector area. This reduction
is possible for hot water supplies at 60°C (140°F).
Hot water temperatures of 90°C (194°F) may also be obtained.
This is a level of performance not usually associated with most
solar collectors. |

| Assembled into easy-to-install units, SUNTUBE
provides highly efficient all weather, year-round energy collection,
assuring optimum performance in summer as well as in winter
weather. Further, the durable construction of the individual
collector tubes and their rugged units assures against long-term
performance degradation even when installed at locations with
severe environmental conditions. |

energy collection is possible, not only in the high temperatures
of summer, but also during cold winter months or other overcast
conditions.
- Long service life. A rugged, durable enclosed construction
effectively prevents recurring problems such as corrosion
or leaking. Furthermore, using high quality sealing techniques,
vacuum pressure in the tube is maintained over its lifetime.

- Fully modular, NEG , assembles all the system elements
into the collector modules at its plant. This reduces installation
time to a minimum:; particularly work on piping and mounting.
- Easy-to-install. The Solar Tube Collectors can be installed
horizontally-an installation method that is not possible
with flat-plate collectors. This not only allows the utilization
of virtually any level surface, but also ensures that the
collectors can be integrated fully into their architectural
surroundings.

| Solar collectors can be classified into two basic
types: evacuated tube collectors and flat-plate collectors.
The suntube, which is an evacuated tube collector, has a superior
cost performance compared to the flat-plate type. |
